DEEP PURPLE To Perform On Swedish TV

According to Deep-Purple.net, DEEP PURPLE will perform on the Swedish TV show "Bingolotto" on Channel 4 on November 27 (the same show that BLACKMORE'S NIGHT appeared on a few years ago). They will reportedly play a new song off their latest CD, "Rapture of the Deep", plus one older song.

As previously reported, "Rapture of the Deep" sold 2,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In the U.K., the album sold 3,500 copies the first week and 1,200 copies the week after. This took the album to No. 81 in the charts first week and No. 184 the week after.
